About Dr Frank Mallawaarachchi
Dr Frank Mallawaarachchi is a General Practitioner at Femiclinic Medical Center, consulting in aesthetic and regenerative medicine. He qualified MBBS and has practised medicine for more than twenty years, with clinical experience spanning orthopaedics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, general surgery and emergency medicine in Sri Lanka and Australia.
He has since dedicated his practice to aesthetic and regenerative medicine, with further training completed in Toronto, Canada and the United States, and is certified in aesthetic medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM). He works as an international trainer to other physicians in Australia, Europe and the UAE, and consults at Femiclinic.

Dr Frank describes his work as that of “a doctor wielding a needle akin to an artist with a paintbrush” – planning each treatment with subtlety and precision, and working with a patient’s own features rather than against them.
His view of aesthetics extends past physical appearance to the mind, body and personal style of the individual. Alongside his medical training he has completed styling studies at the Australian Style Institute and the London College of Fashion, and brings that sensibility into how he assesses proportion and plans treatment.
