Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Dr Yuliya has been practicing in almost all the fields of obstetrics and gynecology for many years, working for the last decade in Dubai. Graduated in 1996 from Kharkov State Medical University (Ukraine), she pursued her post graduation studies in University Paris V- Rene Descartes (Paris) and University Versailles- St.- Quentin (Poissy) in France. She is licensed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Her work is mainly concentrated on management of normal and all types of high risk pregnancies, complications of early and advanced pregnancies, infertility, normal and complicated labor and delivery and all the kinds of gynecological diseases.
She has a special interest in all the aspects of fetal medicine and prenatal diagnosis, especially specialist level ultrasound for which she has been certified by French Board and FMF (UK). She is proficient in fetal ultrasound as well as a number of prenatal diagnosis procedures (amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, amnioreduction etc.). She is FMF(UK) approved sonographer licensed for 1st trimester screening (Down syndrome) program risk calculation based on nuchal translucency scan and maternal serum markers assessment.
Dr Yuliya has gained her teaching experience while lecturing for the staff nurses and doctors, high school students, as well as a tutor for medical students in Dubai Medical College for Girls and a supervisor in DOHMS Residency Program in OB Gyne Dept.
She recently developed interest in a rapidly growing field of cosmetic gynecology and gynecological laser. Numerous courses and workshops that she attended helped to enrich her professional portfolio and to introduce such services to Femiclinic.
She holds a University Certificate for Aesthetic Gynecology (France University) Paris XII and laser competency certificates from IMA (Dubai)and SULTARC (University os Sharjah).
